    Description

    Here we offer you an unmarked verdigris brass 9 brand menorah. It has a classic shape with two small lions at the base. A tad over 6" tall and almost 11" long. It does show wear. Two original screws hold the top part firmly to the base. The top part was cast as a single piece so the candle cups don't have screws holding them in place.  Those are the simply facts.........
    Now what we were told is that this is an older piece from the early days of Israel, by the way it was cast, the fact that it is unmarked means that it was not made for export, and that is worth much more than our starting bid.  We are unable to confirm any of this and would appreciate any knowledge that someone is willing to share.
