Vintage Jewish Bronze Cast Brass Morocco Style Hanging Oil Lamp Menorah c862

Description

Ornate and interesting brass oil menorah from Gat Copperworks, Israel. It measures 13 3/8 at the tallest including the hanger and 7.25" at the widest width. The oil menorah Is adorned with birds and lovely scrolly designs on both the menorah body and the hanger. The label is not red; it is gold;  This Hanukiah (or Chanukiah) menorah has 8 troughs for oil in the bottom and the shamash at the top to light the others. Excellent antique condition; very solid; no rusting or other issues with the metal; nothing is loose. From age, I suppose, or perhaps the heat from the flame, one end of the bottom troughs is slightly pulled away but remains totally solid; see pics. Weighs a few ounces over 3 lbs. as seen in pics.
