    Description

    TRIPLE FDC originally produced for the 8c Mahatma Gandhi stamp issued as part of the "Champion of Liberty" series in Washington, DC, on January 26, 1961 (Sc. 1175). This cover also features TWO other First Day Cancels: (a) a September 5, 2010, cancel on the 44c Mother Teresa stamp issued on September 5, 2010, in Washington, DC (Sc. 4475), and (b) an April 19, 1999, cancel on the 46c Sikh Canadians stamp issued by Canada (Sc. 1786). Both stamps feature an "HN" perfin (perforated initials) -- the initials of Hideaki Nakano, the cachetmaker who created this cover. Brown cachet produced by the House of Farnam. Listed as No. M-15 in
