    Description

    This listing is for a large tile piece of Space Shuttle LRSI heat shield tile. It's just about a 5" square. The bottom looks like it had a base put on it for sitting up or even to attach to a frame. It waspurchased in auction by a former McDonnell Douglas employee who passed away. I unfortunately don't know much about their provenance, the owner purchased a vast amount of space products at auction and this piece matches other examples online (as well as from a helpful space expert).
