  • Condition: This recent find comes from Estate of Retired NASA MSFC Aerospace Engineer that started his career in the Astrionics Laboratory working in the Instrumentation & Communication division on Saturn/Apollo through the Shuttle program with his dept. handling the communication's and stored data reels (see pic #4 & 5 ). Large Kodak photo and request form was for his office in the Astrionics Lab and is in Excellent overall condition (Note: photo size request includes matting and the frame size). Signature and Note is from Mr. William Horton Dept. Mgr and a 1973 NASA Distinguished Service Award winner for work on the Skylab project. Photos are also in Excellent condition and in their original envelope.. Please see all pictures...

    Description

    This recent find comes from Estate of Retired NASA Aerospace Engineer at Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) that started his career with the Astrionics Laboratory in the Vehicle and Payload Instrumentation/Communications Division - Working on the Early Saturn I to the Saturn V all the way through the Shuttle Missions including the STS-1 "Maiden Flight.  Included is a 11" x 14" matted Kodak Photo from NASA Negative with Astrionics Lab Dept. Mgr and NASA Distinguished Service Award Winner signing it with short note to Mr. Atherton ( 3 part photo requisition form included) - Framed photo was for previous owners Office/Dept. Also included is a set of NASA (MSFC) photo's of Mr. Atherton and the Astrionics lab opening SRB Recording Boxes from the STS-1 Mission.. Note: Photo with Mat is 14" x 18"...
