The menorah is mentioned in the Bible (the Tanakh) in the Hebrew language with the name Menorah, but in the Arabic translation of the Tanakh, it is known as (the Manara).
It is a shield divided into seven branches bearing candles, and next to it an olive branch symbolizing peace, and at the bottom is written the word "Israel" in the Hebrew language.
This symbol was derived from the Hebrew Bible (the Tanakh) from the Book of Zechariah (Chapter 4, Verse 2 - 3): “And he told me what you see, so I said, I have looked, and behold, a lighthouse is all gold with its cone on its head, seven saddles on it and seven tubes for the saddle that is On its head, and it has two olives, one on the right of the alcove and the other on its left.
