~ 12 1/2" High ~~~ Width from candle to candle 12 1/4"  ~~~ Base measures 6 3/4"
~ Solid Brass  ~~~ This is a very heavy piece.
~ Octagon Base  ~~~ Arms are movable - rotate.

Here is what I could find out about the company. This information was taken from the web and from a Worthpoint site.  Based on this information this piece would date somewhere from 1880's or early 1900's.
This information was found on the web ~~~ Beginning in the 1860s with a windmill and then a corn cultivator, Daniel C. Stover invented and manufactured machinery of various kinds under the name
Stover Experimental
Works
. In 1879 or 1881 he incorporated as
Stover
Manufacturing
.
There was also the
Stover Engine Works
and the
Stover Bicycle Co.
D. C. Stover died in 1908. In 1916 the Stover companies amalgamated to form
Stover Manufacturing &
Engine Co.
Under the banner of Stover Manufacturing & Engine Co., the business continued until it shut down in 1942.
This information was posted on a Worthpoint site about a similar 7 candle Menorah ~~~ 1890's Stover Mfg. Co. Freeport Illinois Solid Brass Candelabra - Super Rare! This rare unique piece was manufactured at the Stover Manufacturing Company in the 1890's. The company started business in the 1880'sand changed names in the early 1900's. I was informed of this by an antiques dealer from Freeport. They were not known for making these candelabras so there were very few manufactured. You might never see one again!
