    Description

    American Holly
(We have the world's largest selection of American Holly veneers, thins, 1/2", 3/4", 4/4, 5/4, 6/4, 8/4 lumber, turning squares, pen blanks, dowels etc., so please be sure to check our eBay store and web-site for our other offerings of Holly and many other hardwoods!)
American holly is an excellent wood for turning, carving, inlay and is used in the making of fine furniture. In the past it was also valued for use as wood block engraving, umbrella handles, and the backs of brushes. When dyed black, holly resembles the much-sought-after African ebony wood. Therefore, holly is often used for the black keys on pianos and organs and for the pegs and fingerboards on violins.
You are viewing a phenomenal listing of just
    ONE PIECE
of 1/16", kiln-dried, American Holly veneer.  The photo is a sample only and accurately reflects the high-quality Holly veneer that we supply.
Piece may have a knot or two
, otherwise it is virtually clear! This piece roughly measures an average of about 9" wide x 72-1/2" long...a total of about 4.5 sq ft!
    Finishing sand may be necessary
! If more is needed, please change the quantity you are ordering when checking out.  This is nice and white (for holly), which you will not find anywhere else.
We also have 1/32" and 1/42" premium holly veneer
. If you are interested in more or less than the amount of holly veneer in this listing -- OR if you are interested in 1/42" and/or 1/32" holly veneer instead --  please either see our other eBay listings, or check our web-site,  or e-mail your specific request directly to:

    .
(If you are outside the 48 continental U.S. states, you will also need to contact us for a shipping quote prior to purchasing this item.) We roll-up and shrink-wrap our veneer for shipping, however, 1/16" veneer does not roll up into a tight roll, so it takes a larger box than usual to ship it....therefore the shipping cost is a little higher than usual.
I have a 100% POSITIVE feedback rating and intend to keep it that way by providing top-quality products and excellent service!
