    This GIANT ( Around 23" ) NUMBERED commemorative MENORAH - CANDELABRA - LAMP was especialy commissioned by YAD VASHEM to be designed in 1960 by the sculptor ZAHARA SCHATZ to commemorate the SIX MILLIONS ( 6,000,000 ) Jewish victims who were
    murdered
    by the NAZIS during the HOLOCAUST - WW2. The ART MENORAH is designed with SIX CANDELS which represent the six millions made of BRONZE or BRASS , Mounted on a solid wooden base , On which the "YAD VASHEM" MOTO being a verse from the Biblical book of ISAIAH is engraved in Hebrew
    "And I have given them a hand and name which shall not be cut off" (Hand and Name in Hebrew is "Yad Vashem")
    . Also engraved , Yet faded and quite unreadable is a serial number. The YAD VASHEM institution has adopted the image of the unique menorah as its LOGO.
    This edition of the HOLOCAUST MENORAH was manufactured in the 1960's in a limited and numbered edition. Much smaller 10" desk editions are still available in YAD VASHEM
