    Description

    This is a vintage Space Shuttle commemorative shirt from 22 years ago, when John Glenn launched into space at the age of 77 for his second time in space, having only flown before in the first Mercury Program mission to circle the earth. It is size Large, 50/50 Cotton/polyester. I found it in the back of a drawer of a dresser in our smoke free home; I don't think it was worn more than once, if ever. The front pocket, as shown, has an image of the patch from the mission with all 7 astronauts' names on it.  This would be a great gift for a space memorabilia collecting friend, or for yourself. I have not seen a shirt like this on eBay, so buy it now for your piece of history!
