Condition: This recent find comes from Estate of Retired NASA MSFC AEROSPACE Engineer that was part of Wernher von Brauns Pioneer Rocket Team designing and testing the F1/H1/J2 Engines. He later worked on the Shuttle's SSME starting in 1968 designing its Engines and was named Chief Engineer in 1971. Listing is for Aerojet Presentation along with meeting notes and Russian Space Agency Brief Technical Characteristics of Nichimmash Experimental Base relating to Low Thrust Rocket Engines. All items are in Very Good condition for use/age with minimal storage wear. Some photos are stamped in red ink on back side (see picture 11) and some photos are glued in center to paper for presentation. Binder shown in pictures has heavier age/storage wear. This recent find comes from Estate of Retired NASA MSFC Aerospace Engineer that was part of ABMA and NASA working with Wernher von Braun on the pioneering Rocket Team. Mr. Jerry Thomson was ultimately responsible for the development and Testing of the "H1", J2 and F1 Rocket Engines and eventually put in charge of the Shuttle "SSME" development in 1968, Lastly from 1971-86 he served as Chief Engineer for the Space Shuttle Main Engine where he helped design the RS-25. After retiring from NASA, Mr. Thomson joined Aerojet as a Chief Scientist for advanced propulsion working directly with Soviet companies Approving and Testing Rocket Engines right after the East Germany wall came down. This listing is for a Low Thrust Rocket Engines presentation along with original signed meeting notes (participants) and Russian Space Agency details with information on each below:
