  • Condition: This recent find comes from Estate of Retired NASA MSFC AEROSPACE Engineer that was part of Wernher von Brauns Pioneer Rocket Team and later worked on the Shuttle's SSME starting in 1968-69 designing its Engines (Specifically the RS-25). Transparencies, Photos and ELV Folder/Brochure materials are all in Very Good condition with some use/age and storage wear. Photos and Transparency frames/mattes have some minor spotting.     Description

    This recent find comes from Estate of Retired NASA MSFC Aerospace Engineer that was part of ABMA and NASA working with Wernher von Braun on the pioneering Rocket Team. Mr. Thomson was ultimately responsible for the development of the H1, J2 and F1 Rocket Engines and eventually put in charge of the Shuttle "SSME" development in 1968, Lastly from 1971-86 he served as Chief Engineer for the Space Shuttle Main Engine the RS-25. This listing is for a Lot of NASA SPACE SHUTTLE / ROCKETDYNE materials relating to the Advanced Launch Systems (ALS) Propulsion Area (These were used for actual NASA and USAF presentations and some have two #'s top right corner because of different presentations) - See below:
