Description
This recent find comes from Estate of Retired NASA MSFC Aerospace Engineer/Scientist that was part of ABMA and NASA working with Wernher von Braun on the Original pioneering Rocket Team. Mr. Thomson was ultimately responsible for the development of the H1, J2 and F1 Rocket Engines and eventually put in charge of the Shuttle "SSME" development in 1968, Lastly from 1971-86 he served as Chief Engineer for the Space Shuttle Main Engine the RS-25 (Credited with development and testing). This listing is for NASA 1976-1984 collection of presentations from the progression on development, Original Kodak NASA and Rocketdyne photos, transparency slides relating to SSME Development relating to the RS-25 Rocket Engine and all are in Very Good overall condition for use and age with some storage wear/aging (see pictures 3, 4 and 8 as examples). Lots of photos with a variety of labels including purple ink stamps (see pictures 7-8) - Picture #5 is a transparency for the 0007 report used in presentation. Badge shown in picture 12 is NOT included in listing, but shown for reference only.
